$21,540

Carla Hall, Food Network judge, cookbook author, and passionate brain health advocate created her line of tarts in honor of her grandmother, who lived with Alzheimer’s.

“A big ol’ thank you to everyone who stopped by The Fresh Market and picked up my Sweet Heritage butter tarts! Y’all didn’t just treat yourselves—you helped raise over $21,000 for the Alzheimer’s Association! That’s a whole lot of goodness doing double duty: satisfying your sweet tooth and supporting critical research to help us get closer to a cure. I’m so proud to be part of this delicious way to give back. Let’s keep showing up for each other and keep working to #ENDALZ—one bite at a time!” – Carla Hall

Feeding America®

We have aligned our company as a “Mission Partner” with Feeding America®. They are the largest hunger-relief organization in the United States, with a network of 200 foodbanks that feed 40 million people at risk of hunger, including 12 million children and 7 million seniors.

Each The Fresh Market store makes food donations multiple times per week to Feeding America’s partner food banks and its agencies to fight hunger in their communities.
